Pakistan Army has worked tirelessly along with the civil government to bring in peace and stability in whole Pakistan and specifically the disturbed areas of FATA and Balochistan for which they have been successful to a large extent. The extremist minds are dealt under the law of state and those trying to disturb the peace of the region were executed and dealt with hard hands.
As the peace revived in the province special focus was given to education as it’s the light of education that can enlighten the mindset of extremists and their sympathizers. Educational institutes were developed in the province for both girls and boys. Moreover the foreign investment has opened employment opportunities for Baloch nationals which have given the women a modern society to flourish. Despite of all facilities provided some old mind set people are bashing the Armed Forces of Pakistan and specifically maligning Pakistan Army for torturing Baloch women.
By looking at the current situation of the province and the atmosphere provided to the civilian’s. One can ensure that the allegation is totally baseless and has no weightage; no one can deny the hardship faced by our Law Enforcement Agencies for the sake of civilians and how is it possible that the same LEAs are abducting Baloch women. It’s just a lame propaganda to by the few anti-state elements to malign Armed Forces of Pakistan and divert the concentration of concerned departments from their work and cause trouble for the state.
Women has brought a lot pride to the Baloch nation such as Batool is first female Assistant Commissioner of Quetta and made her way to the top through great efforts.
Rahila Hameed Durrani the first female speaker of Balochistan Assembly. Rahila is a known philanthropist and a Tamgha-i-Imtiaz recipient. She’s also the first woman from Balochistan to be a member of Commission for the Status of Women who represented Pakistan in United Nations. Moreover Roshan Khursheed Bharucha (CEO of HUNAR foundation and Chairperson of SOS Village), Zobaida Jalal (Federal Minister of Education 2002), Farzana Majeed Baloch, Lt Zakia Jamali, Sakina Shah (Astrologist) and many other women have bought honor to the Baloch nation and if such prominent names are there in history of Baloch women that means that women are provided good opportunities in Balochistan.
