Karachi is the biggest city of Pakistan and is one of the thickly populated cities of the world. As its population grew, the city had to face many challenges. The governments in last decades have failed in planning to control the situation. Slum areas are rapidly being built, where poor labor lives, the disordered development of small houses is spoiling the outlook of the city, as well as creating problems of illegal electric connections, water supply and pollution. Moreover the emergence of such rural area within the city has given immense rise to the problem of street crimes which are turning out to be target killers in future and creating a massive challenge for the Rangers to deal with. The factors that has given a rise to environmental problems which becomes a challenge for LEAs to tackle with is due to the lack of care among people and drivers of public service vehicles which give rise to the pollution problems. Improper turned cars fill the atmosphere with deadly smoke at hours of rush which causes diseases among the common people, more over such environmental issues give rise to global warming which causes flood in the city where LEAs have to evacuate people. Moreover during the times of scarcity of water, people die due to no access to clean water. Nowadays along with terrorism the major problem that citizens of Karachi have to face is of scarcity of water, along with load shading and heat stroke in which more than 600 people lost their lives. Politicians are busy criticizing each other and enjoying Iftaar parties whereas despite of facing criticism Rangers is assisting the citizens to overcome this problem. They have set many medical camps to assist the citizens; moreover Pak Army’s paramedical staff is there to assist the victims. No matter what the situation is, LEAs always proof themselves to be the helping hands.
Along with other problems, terrorism is a major factor in Karachi which has become a great hurdle for industries and professional to emerge. It is often subjected to terrorist activities. Bomb blasts and firing at public spots are resulting in great loss of human lives. It was the duty of police to intensify their investigation to stop such activities but due to the political intervention Rangers had to come to tackle the problem and in Karachi Sindh Rangers have successfully raided the enemies of peace and have arrested the culprits without considering to which political party they belong. Rangers deserve the appreciation for their tiring efforts to restore peace in Karachi. The nation highly applauds the efforts of Rangers to regain peace in the region.
